Behnaz Shirmohamadi

Biography:

Behnaz Shirmohamadi received her Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology in Iran. She holds a Master Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Delft University of Technology.

Behnaz has done different research projects about robustness of complex networks, sensor network applications in crisis time and wireless sensor networks for home energy consumption (compatible with smart grids) at TU Delft. For her graduation project, she has worked with TNO-ICT on "Self-optimized resource allocation methods in ICT systems."

Over the past ten years, she has worked as a journalist in her free time, writing about literature and cinema. Recently she has started translating short stories.

Currently Behnaz is working as a researcher at Almende on the FireSwarm project.
